Adagio is a JFA 45 built by the French yard JFA and delivered in year 1999. The yard has build two samples of the JFA45. Adagio for the high latitudes and Draco (sister boat) for the caribbean.
The design is by Olivier Racoupeau www.berret-racoupeau.com, JFA www.jfa-yachts.com and the previus owner Francois Haffner.
She is made of aluminum with a composit owerbuilding for more flexebility in the design.
Fully isolated for comfort in both cold and warm climate and build for easy handling whith over sized deck equipment and cutter rig.
Deck saloon with tinted twin layer deck house windows, two cabins for sleeping, bath room, extra toilet and drying place for oilskin etc.
The main cabin, galley and dining room is located as close as possible to the center of gravity.
She has fixed twin keels and sits steddy on her two keels whith no extra device, no problem to dry out and still live on board. Two watertight bulkheads, bowthruster is ahead of the front one and rudder is behind the aft one.
